Israeli forces killed three journalists, two 13 year-old boys and six others in Gaza on Wednesday, January 21.

The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate said that the reporters who died in an airstrike “were carrying out a humanitarian, journalistic mission to film and document the suffering of civilians”.

In another incident a military drone succeeded in killing one of the 13 year-olds who died during the day. The other 13 year-old was collected firewood for his family in the eastern town of Bani Suheila when he was shot by a sniper.

At least 220 journalists have been killed buy the IDF in Gaza since October 2023. A total of at least 466 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces since the start of the so-called ceasefire in October 2025.
