A US pro-Israel advocacy group has labeled political commentator Tucker Carlson its “Antisemite of the Year,” citing his criticism of Israel’s war on Gaza and pro-Israel lobbying in Washington.
StopAntisemitism said Carlson used his popular podcast and media appearances to challenge the war and what he calls Israel’s influence on US politics.
Since Israel’s assault on Gaza began on 7 October 2023, Carlson has emerged as a leading rightwing voice accusing the United States of complicity. He has repeatedly targeted the Zionist pressure group AIPAC, describing its power as humiliating for American lawmakers and the country.
Carlson has also accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who faces ICC arrest warrants over Gaza, of openly claiming leverage over US leaders. He has condemned Christian Zionism as a driving force behind unconditional US support for Israel, calling it a threat to Christianity.
StopAntisemitism also accused Carlson of attacking pro-Israel figures such as Ben Shapiro, amid parallel criticism from Trump ally Steve Bannon at a conservative convention.
The group’s director, Liora Reznichenko, has openly advocated punishing critics of Israel by publicly branding them, saying the digital record will follow them for life. She claims the group’s campaigns have contributed to hundreds of job losses among academics, activists, and media figures, including educator Rachel Accurso, known as Ms Rachel.
While StopAntisemitism has targeted Accurso for sharing images of Palestinian children suffering in Gaza, she was simultaneously named one of Glamour’s 2025 Women of the Year.
Carlson has been particularly critical of what he says is Israel’s policy of deliberately killing children. However, this has infuriated StopAntisemitism, which claims his criticism is anti-semitic.
