House Democrats released a new set of what they described as disturbing photographs from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting figures including Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and Britain’s former royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The initial release included 19 images, followed by about 70 more, drawn from nearly 100,000 photographs provided to the House oversight committee investigating Epstein’s connections before his death in jail in 2019. Among those shown are well-known figures including Woody Allen, Bill Gates, Richard Branson, and Steve Bannon, with images ranging from social gatherings to scenes inside Epstein’s properties.

Other photographs show Epstein’s island home, unusual interior spaces, novelty political items, and personal scenes involving Epstein himself. The images were released without captions, prompting Democrats to argue they raise serious questions about Epstein’s relationships with powerful individuals. Oversight committee Democrat Robert Garcia accused the White House of a cover-up and said the photos underscore the need for transparency and justice for survivors.

The White House rejected the claims, accusing Democrats of cherry-picking images to create a false political narrative and denying any wrongdoing by Trump. Lawmakers recently passed legislation requiring the Justice Department to release all Epstein-related files by 19 December, with hundreds of thousands of documents expected.

A federal judge also authorised the release of investigative materials related to Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime associate now serving a 20-year sentence. Democrats say more photographs will be released soon, while Republicans maintain the disclosures are politically motivated and contain no evidence of criminal conduct.
